Cab Experiences recently organized a successful full hybrid event for their client Google, called the Google Agency Day. The event is an annual gathering of high-profile agencies from across the country, and the challenge was to create a seamless experience for both in-person and virtual attendees.
The event was a full 2-way hybrid setup utilizing Google Meet as the base VC technology. Cab Experiences partnered with Brandbutter to provide the technical expertise for the event. Brandbutter utilized incoming streams and used vision mixing servers to compose a templated output with custom graphics and house mix audio to be sent to the banquet hall for physical audience to see, and a separate custom output to the virtual attendees to get the feel of a real environment.
To ensure uninterrupted connectivity, Brandbutter utilized high-end internet lines using a private network over Gigabit with built-in redundancies for failovers. This ensured that the output was seamless, and the integration of presentations, live presenters, graphics, and 2-way audio was absolutely perfect.
The event was a huge success, with attendees praising the seamless integration of the virtual and in-person experiences. Cab Experiences and Brandbutter were commended for their attention to detail, ensuring that attendees were able to fully engage with the event, regardless of their physical location.
